The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its greatest advancement is an obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, so that you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills easily, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. The Q5+ is exceptionally soft when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums can really be a bit sloppy. The Q5+'s navigation is top-quality, with a few misses along walls or in corners.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map or change the labeling of rooms.

It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a dock that can create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.
Although it doesn't have as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price tag.
If you're looking to cut costs or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. A lot of eufy models are significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with more features like stairs, a fully-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
